Sunday 31 July saw over 26,000 cyclists take to the streets in Southern England for this year’s RideLondon-Surrey 100 event. Winding their way through picturesque villages and past iconic London landmarks, this year’s event was certainly one of the biggest yet; and amongst this crowd of courageous cyclists were over two dozen Rhino Riders, taking on the challenge to raise funds to help protect endangered rhinos throughout Africa and Asia.
It was an absolute pleasure to welcome our dedicated and determined riders at our post-race picnic to enjoy a well earned drink and much deserved rest. Racking up some incredibly impressive times and overcoming some tough delays and obstacles, Team Rhino really did us proud, and through their sporting efforts, have helped to raise in excess of £15,000 to date. Thank you Team Rhino!
We are now taking applications for next year’s RideLondon-Surrey 100. If you are interested in signing up to be a part of Team Rhino in 2017, please contact Claudia at events@savetherhino.org or call 020 7357 7474
