On the 4th of April, fifteen of our London Marathon runners were scattered throughout the Square Mile collecting donations in our iconic rhino costumes. The team could be found collecting by some of the busiest commuting areas in London such as St. Paul’s, London Bridge and Cannon Street. Did you manage to spot a rhino?
We had so much fun with this collection and we would like to thank our runners for the effort that they put in throughout the day and for braving the infamous London rush hour!
We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to all the wonderful people out and about who donated much appreciated funds.Every little penny counts and collectively we managed to raise a whopping £1,339.89! No expenses or payments were incurred in connection with this collection, with the full amount going straight to Save the Rhino International’s work.
This was an important collection for us as the money raised for our “general pot” of funds. Money that isn’t restricted to a particular project or type of activity gives us the flexibility to support projects that are in the greatest need and allows us, as a team, to respond effectively and quickly to rhino emergencies as they happen.
See who’s on our fantastic team and support their work here. Remember, every little bit helps!
