Ready for a Christmas challenge? Santa in the City is the perfect way to get you, your colleagues, friends and family into the festive spirit!

Join Save the Rhino in London on 4 December as we take on a step-free, accessible 4km course across the capital; dressed as Santa Claus! The course is suitable for runners and rhinos of all abilities – you don’t have to run at all, walking to enjoy the festive route is absolutely fine!

Once you’re signed up, every participating adult will be provided with a five-piece Santa suit (hat, beard, jacket, trousers and belt), runner number and medal – all included within your registration fee – and available for collection on Race Day at The Founders Arms, London. Children run for free (though they must be accompanied by an adult at all times).

On registration, a fundraising page will be set up for you on Enthuse. For this type of event, supporters usually raise at least £50, which contributes to important rhino conservation activities.

The Route

Starting at 7:00pm by the Tate Modern, the festive 4km route takes you along the Thames Embankment, enjoying the world-famous views of the City of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Millennium Bridge.

You will pass Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and then turn towards Southwark Bridge, crossing hover to hug the north embankment, going through the Thames’s hidden paths, running towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

Returning through the City, you’ll head back over Southwark Bridge to Bankside, once again taking in the views of St Paul’s Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge, bringing you back to the Tate Modern to complete a truly iconic London route!
