The Rhino Dash is an exciting sponsored walk or run, inspiring you and your school to raise vital awareness and funds to protect rhinos for the future. Get involved and make a difference!
How to organise a Rhino Dash
- Register your school – sign up with our fundraising team
- Select your date, distance and venue – pick a place and time that works for you and your school (this could be on your playground, sports field, school hall or even in a local park)
- Download your fundraising pack – we’ll share Rhino Dash fundraising resources and templates with you to get you started
- Spread the word – let everyone know when the Rhino Dash is happening to get them excited and involved early
- Get creative – personalise your posters, pin them to noticeboards and share them by email to promote the Rhino Dash far and wide
- Enjoy your Rhino Dash – bring your school together, have fun and save rhinos!
Fundraising goals
There is no set amount to raise and every school fundraises in different ways. Whether it’s £1 per entry, individual sponsorships, or both, every little helps. Some schools ask for £1 per entry and encourage everyone to raise at least £5 sponsorship from friends and family members.
What’s included in the fundraising pack?
- A customisable poster for you to personalise and use to promote the event
- Creative templates for children to make their own rhino ears or rhino horn headband
- Educational and fun activities for your classroom (including a dot-to-dot, wordsearch, crossword, and rhino colouring pages)
- Rhino fun facts (perfect for a short quiz during class!)
- A sponsorship form to collect pledges
- A Rhino Hero certificate, to celebrate your success and let everyone know how much they helped to raise

After your Rhino Dash
Once your Rhino Dash is completed, decide on the best way to pay in your fundraising.
